Department of Law started its journey in 2009 with a view to furthering the moto of the
University “creating a culture of excellence” through producing qualified law graduates.
Our department provides outcome-based legal education that blends theoretical knowledge with
practical skills. We have experienced faculty members who are not only experts in their
respective fields but also passionate about imparting knowledge and guiding you towards
academic excellence. We encourage open discussions and debates, and offer co-curricular
activities like mock trials, moot court competition, guest lectures by renowned professionals
from legal field to help you develop your legal acumen and advocacy skills.
Moreover, we have a strong alumni practicing in the various bar associations across Bangladesh,
pursuing higher studies abroad, and efficiently holding down responsible positions at different
public and private organizations. Interestingly, a mentionable portion of our alumni have
established themselves as successful entrepreneurs.
